My Leadership Philosophy
I believe the most important job that a leader has is to drive the culture. Specifically an optimistic culture that electrifies and inspires others to do better and to be better. This leader must establish great relationships and tremendous teamwork through enabling people to learn and grow. Culture is what drives expectation and beliefs. If you want to be the driver you must establish the proper behavior and habits.
Here are some traits that I believe a leader should have.
Passion
One's passion should be so contagious that others want to follow in your lead.
Anything in life worth doing is worth overdoing and people should know that you are going the extra mile.
Dichotomy
Know when to lead and when to follow, when to focus and when to detach, when to listen and when to speak.
You need to be open minded and to see things from all perspectives in order to maintain proper leadership.
Influential
It's not about titles or positions, it's about one life influencing another.
In order to get people following you, influential things need to be said and done to the point that you are contagious and people want/need to be around your presence.
The Lonely Work
Who’s going to do the stuff when no one is watching, the lonely stuff.
Everyone works hard and wants it as bad as you but the lonely stuff is what separates you from the pack.
Control your controllables
You cannot worry about what is outside of your control, such as other people's feelings towards you as that will only alter your path.
Instead you can control your attitude, effort and behavior as it will assist you on your journey.
